Design

Alga has a technical department consisting of highly skilled engineers and designers. With their strong experience Alga technicians are able to provide adequate technical assistance to designers and construction companies to solve problems relating to devices and the transfer of forces and from time to time to find the best technical and economical solutions.


Alga engineers are also heavily engaged in research and development of new products and new materials. Through the interaction with universities and with the testing laboratory in Montebello della Battaglia (Pavia) the technical know-how of Alga remains always highly competitive.

The detailed modelling and design of the devices is made using simplified calculations fully validated in the years by tests or studies using the finite element method (FEM) also tested and compared with experimental tests. Alga engineers are able to perform nonlinear dynamic analysis on any type of structure.


The drawings are made using 3D software that can work on automatic parametric models, thus making the precision and the control of the geometry of the designed devices extremely fast and efficient.
