Algaflex TM are medium and large movement joints. The rubber modular element together with the steel “bridge plate” are the main components of the joint. The great versatility of Algaflex TM joints is founded on the fact that it combines the rubber deformability qualities with a wide modular system, being possible to assemble one or two deformable elements to the bridge plate obtaining, in this way, a large movement range. In particular, a joint with a single deformable element can cover a field of movement from 320 mm up to 800 mm; with two elements from 960 mm up to 1600 mm.
The rubber compound, has been formulated to resist the oil, grease, petrol, salt and sand, without suffering premature ageing phenomena due to sun rays, salt and snow.
All Algaflex TM joints have a thickness of 82mm, which avoids the need for of deep recesses.
